# Virtual Vault Core

#### Abstract

Vaults of Isolated Participant Escrow (VIPEs) safeguard funds from malicious actors and enable users to audit proof of reserves. Escrow is not stored within a shared pool but within individual vaults tied to the depositor's address. Funds can be moved immediately with universal agreement of the user and counterparty or after the dispute period according to the most recent state.
